COVID-19 Pandemic Public Notice

It is unfortunate that we have this unprecedented situation of having to deal with COVID-19. that is so very serious, that some have lost their lives and others may yet lose their lives to COVID-19. It is with the seriousness of the situation that we have the obligation to put out this public notice to those who chose to enter the facility, visit, seek treatment of any type within the facility. While we wish we could give you guaranty of total protection we cannot and we dare say that wherever you go there are risks e.g. grocery store and other daily encounters. Therefore please note, if you elect to come to this facility for any reason the act of coming to this facility, scheduling an appointment and/or receiving urgent or non-urgent treatment here is not without risks. The pandemic events of COVID-19 are a National and Worldwide Emergency. Be advised that there exist an increased risk of exposure from doctors of which dentist are included, staff, other patients and the treatment facility and their agents and material suppliers. This dental office is taking precautions to limit the spread of this disease but there is still the possibility of transmission that cannot be totally eliminated because COVID-19 has a long incubation period during which carriers of the virus may not show symptoms and still be highly contagious. It is impossible to determine who has it and who does not given the current limits on virus testing and the possibility of false positive or false negative results when tested. Others who have been tested and show they have the antibodies to COVID-19 what level of protection that provides is still being debated. Dental procedures furthermore, create water spray which is a manner of how the disease is spread. The ultra-fine nature of the spray can linger in the air for minutes to sometimes hours, which can transmit the COVID-19 virus. Also the nature of some dental treatments requires permitting a patient to spit, cough, and have a mouth open with no protective mask due to the need for access. PUBLIC NOTICE this facility cannot totally protect you from transmission. If you enter this facility, visit, proceed with urgent or non-urgent treatments ( non-urgent treatment is being provided here, as the long nature of having to deal with COVID-19 before a vaccination is developed and utilized by large number of the population Nationally and Worldwide, means that some do not wish to postpone non-urgent visits/treatments until that pivotal point is reached and noting that in FL the governor is allowing for elective medical procedures and other elective procedures to proceed) by doing so you are acknowledging your willingness to accept the health risks involved during this COVID-19 National and Worldwide Emergency which includes death. If you do not want any risks from entering a dental facility then do not enter. If you only want necessary risks only enter for urgent care (treatment that focuses on the management of conditions that require immediate attention to relieve severe pain and/or risk of infection). You ultimately must weigh the risks you are willing to take, this office is respectful of your choice and we are here to serve you while taking precautions as best we can to prevent transmission. This public notice is provided because your safety matters to us and your informed choice requires this public notice. We wish all peace of mind, health, safety and a good and happy life.
